My story

At age 9, my parents got me Guitar Hero III for Christmas. I realized shortly after that I wanted to play music for real, and I picked up guitar lessons the following spring. This led me to join the School of Rock program, which drew me to the bass guitar and taught me how to be a performer. For the remaining years of my childhood, I gradually discovered my deep love for music through forming my own bands and playing hundreds of live shows around the local scene in my hometown of Charlotte, NC. I knew that music was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life, and in order to do so, I needed to hone my craft. Thus, I set off to study at Berklee College of Music in 2017, and in 2020 I earned a degree in Bass Performance and a minor in Recording & Production.

I am now living/working in Los Angeles, CA and have several musical projects based in multiple locations around the world; including cinematic prog metal collective Nova Incepta (Sydney, AUS), and progressive rock trio Vicarious (Charlotte, NC). I also work as a freelance recording musician/producer and teach private lessons (see services). Upon the return of the live music industry, I anticipate working as a touring musician as well.
